Wow, it's been a while since I posted here. It's been THAT busy in Algae-Land, and I'm trying not to make this a blog just about bitching about work. No one wants to read post after post of whining. And I don't want to write about whining.
But! I woke up this morning to an email from the latest journal I submitted to that said "Accepted with Major Revisions"....
On the upside: YAY ACCEPTED!! OMFG! Crack the bubbly!
On the downside: Crap....I now have 4 pages of revisions to get through.
I'm trying to focus on the positive, that I can do this. It's mostly "this wasn't clear" or "remove this superscript on that graph" or "this paragraph is repetitive, remove it". None of it is "this was a poor experiment not worthy of publication" or "I don't think this means what they said it means"
So that's good, right?
Anyway, Yay Published!!
So the market-altering/upsetting jump in the cost of red ink was your fault?
